A team of 10 from Sri Lankan Institute of Information Technology, joined plexy to do a social data gathering framework to plexydesk. This will let widgets and the the plexyfile manager to interact with social data and manage them effortlessly. It also means you can even use java script to access social data letting you create more useful widgets.  One of the highlights will be the daemon also supports providing access to social data over dbus. This will be very similar to Mojito Project but written in Qt.
